Vegan Apple Betty (Apple Crisp)

Apple Betty is also known as an apple crtty. This tasty dessert couldn’t be any simpler to put together. With just over 30 minutes of total time required, it’s an easy dessert to make in a pinch.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Apples Cut into medium chunks
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • ½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ cup Rolled Oats
  • ¼ cup Plant-Based Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Cloves
  • add Vegan Ice Cream optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
    ¾ cup Brown Sugar, ½ cup Whole Wheat Flour, ½ cup Rolled Oats, 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ½ teaspoon Cloves
  • Melt the butter and stir into the flour/oat mixture.
    ¼ cup Plant-Based Butter
  • Line your pan with your sliced apples so it's firmly packed, and cover with the flour and oat mixture.
    5 Apples
  • Bake for 30 minutes until the top is nicely browned.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
