It is day 10 of my #NoBadSugarFast, and I am so impressed with myself. Here’s what I did today ….

THE CRAVING:

  • I have been craving Chili for a few days but didn’t want to buy the premade Chili Seasoning. I also wanted it with no meat (that’s new).
  • So, after an intensive search on the internet, I found an easy recipe for Chili Seasoning, and I decided to add Kidney Beans, Black Beans, Chick Peas, and Lentils.
  • Instead of rice, I decided to try and make some Quinoa (I needed lots of prayer on that one).

THE RESULT:

AH-MAZE-ZING!!!

  • My aunt Betty thought it needed more sugar, but it was already too sweet for me. I’m used to drinking unsweetened Iced Tea and Coffee with no sweetener, so it probably did need a dash of sweetness.
  • The Quinoa was easier than cooking rice. So prayers work! #IJS
  • I will be freezing half and eating the rest for a few days.

It just hit me … Dang … I’m a good cook. Why am I single?
