Today it is day 17 of my #NoBadSugarFast, and I am so proud of myself!!! Here’s why. But first …

THE GOOD:

  • I diced an onion today, and it was better than the diced onions I buy at the store. I have been lazy for years, but today, I decided to use what I learned on YouTube and dice my own. OMG!!! PROUD OF ME!
  • I made my Delish Maryland Crab Soup with my diced onion, minced garlic, olive oil, tomatoes with jalapenos, veggie broth, cabbage, potatoes, green beans, carrots, lima beans, corn, lentils, and expensive a$$ crab meat! It’s better than the Maryland Crab soup I had at a restaurant over the weekend. Now, I need to give some away. I don’t know how to make small pots.

  • I finally finished off my veggie chili earlier today, and it was better than the 1st day.

THE BAD:

  • I’m not sure if this is bad, but I have become a regular at the local grocery store. I’m there so frequently they know my name. I guess it is because I buy lots of perishables.

THE ” I BOUGHT IT, NOW WHAT?”

So, I love cheese! But I stopped eating processed cheese. Every vegan recipe that has cheese substitute calls for Nutritional Yeast. I got some, and I’m like… Now what?

Does anyone have a good vegan recipe for an alfredo or cheese sauce? HELP!
