It’s day 15 of my #NoBadSugarFast. I missed a few days because I’ve been sleeping. (those who know me understand why that was so important to happen). But today, I had to embrace the inevitable. But first…
THE GOOD:
- I have eaten out a few times and made smarter decisions on food orders. I stayed away from fried foods and got more veggies and seafood.
- I went veggie and produce shopping at the market, and it was so much fun!!! Thanks to my cousin Brenda.
THE BAD:
- Although I didn’t drink as much, I drank more in the last two days than in 2 months.
THE “DAMN, IM A CHEF!”
So, today, I decided to cook my stepmom and dad dinner. They didn’t know I could cook. So I got the “When did you become a chef?” question. I had to think about it. I have been cooking an awful lot more. So, I guess I’m a Chef! Ok, not really but I can cook.
My dish for today was Baramundi with Butter Rice and Green Beans. This dish would cost me $22 for one serving at a restaurant.
But I spent $30 for 3 Baramundi fillets, which is $10 a plate (serving). They had rice and green beans in the pantry, so I spent $0 on that.
Here are a few pics.
And yes! It was #Yummy. My dad loved it, so I guess it was really good.
Desert is my new candy… Fruit.
